Learning Lab

The VCU Child Development Center serves as a learning lab for students enrolled in the School of Education. Students and instructors are welcome to reach out to administrators if interested in scheduling observation time for course requirements. The center encourages these opportunities to learn from the teachers and students in all of our classrooms.

Each classroom in the Center includes an entry room called an "observation room" to allow for student observations without disruption classroom activities. Students are also welcome to request time in the classroom for hands-on learning opportunities with the children. 

SOE students who are interested in completing observation at the Center must request that course instructors first contact administrators to organize observation schedules.
