The Child Development Center (CDC) serves as a laboratory for students training for careers in teaching, psychology, or social work. We are part of the VCU School of Education, and we also engage students in art and music education programs here at the University. The CDC provides rich opportunities for students to put theory into practice in real live classrooms under the direction of a very talented teaching staff. With parental permission, the Center allows professors and graduate students to conduct research on salient topics in early childhood education.
