The VCU Child Development Center offers full-day care and developmentally-appropriate education for the families of VCU faculty, staff and students, as well as the community.

Far more than just a daycare, the center's unique relationship with the School of Education benefits both sides. For instance, the center provides the school with unique opportunities for its early-education students, while benefiting from the expertise of its faculty's research.

One of just 12 centers in Richmond to hold a National Association for the Education of Young Children accreditation, the Child Development Center is committed to a safe, nurturing environment for its children, and prides itself on maintaining a close relationship with its families and communities.
